Is there a way in the Theia framework to detect syntax errors in user-written code and prompt the error in a user-friendly way , for example, marking the syntax error code with red wavy lines or indicating it on the left side? Or if there’s a way to integrate third party code checking tools and mark the error instantaneously?
@LamYunfu this is already supported by consuming vscode extensions (plugins) in a Theia-based application.
For example, the builtin vscode-builtin-typescript-language-features extension (which uses the JS/TS langauge-server) provides syntax and language support including diagnostic markers such as errors. For a given language, you will need to find the appropriate extension to provide you with language support.
Thanks. I will try.
