Run `che-server` with custom `che-theia`

  1. che-server running locally in my PC (followed steps mentioned in https://che.eclipse.org/running-eclipse-che-on-kubernetes-using-docker-desktop-for-mac-5d972ed511e1).

  2. Built che-theia image (followed https://github.com/eclipse/che-theia/blob/master/README.md)

  3. Added che-theia image to docker registry and pushed it to docker registry.

  4. docker image ls shows the image as 172.19.218.215:5000/myorganization/myfirsttheia (I specified the name of the image like this while tagging/adding to registry).

  5. Opened che-server in browser.

  6. Clicked New Workspace using stach che7-preview (Workspace.next sidecars and Theia as IDE)-> edited the configuration.

  7. Under configuration tab, changed the IDE component in stack => “editor”: “http://172.19.218.215:5000/myorganization/myfirsttheia”.

  8. went ahead and opened the workspace.

  9. The workspace tried to load. Timed out after sometime. Workspace container exited. IDE part in browser was blank.
    Are the above steps okay? Please advice.

‘che-server’ version is 7.0.0-beta-4.0

Error message : Error: Failed to run the workspace: “Plugins installation process timed out”

Did it not find meta.yaml of a plugin or editor from Che plugin registry?
