Regarding theia as electron application, is it possible in some way to act on the proxy settings?
I noticed that in vscode there are a number of predefined settings to act on, so I was wondering if there was something like that for theia.
However, I tried to investigate but I were not able to understand yet how theia handles this case programmatically.

Before proceeding, I was referring to this settings file. There are a set of proxy settings available. Any comments?
Do you mean these settings: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/blob/03a7223ee2a086bbcf028801da9370d5deff5093/src/vs/platform/request/common/request.ts#L76-L106 I don’t think we support them, but we can.
